The Advanced Legal Studies Institute was established in 1997 to promote research in Islamic law and in the laws prevailing in Muslim countries, especially in Pakistan. We are engaged in the service of the legal community, academics, lawyers, and students in Pakistan.
This website has been developed to promote high standards of legal education in Pakistan through the generation of original and modern textbooks, by critically analyzing the current state of legal education across Pakistan, and by providing a platform to relevant stakeholders to encourage meaningful discussion on critical topics.
